SWIMMING PROGRAMME CHANGES IN JANUARY
Following the customer feedback that was gathered from the Big Swim Survey, from January 9th 2012 we are making some changes to our swimming programme.
Some of the key changes are detailled below:
- The whole pool will be used for Junior Lessons on a Monday 4-7pm
- Adult Swimming Lessons will be moving to 8-9 on a Tuesday in line with the holiday programme.
- General Lane Swimming will take place on a Thursday 11-1, followed by an additional Aquafit (Latino style) class 1.15-2pm, (term time only).
- One lane will be added to the General Swim sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday.
- Adults only will now take place 7-9 on a Thursday evening.
- On a Sunday a General Swim will take place 10.30-2.30, followed by an Adults only session 2.30-3.30.
What we have done:
We have removed sessions that were poorly attended and increased lane availability. We have increased the provision for junior swimming lessons and introduced an additional Aquafit class. The 60+ swims will now become 50 years + and we have introduced a fun zone exclusively for families on a Sunday afternoon. The adult only swim times have also seen an improvement.
